Welcome to EFSA Quierschied
With a rapidly ageing society, Germany is facing a shortage of qualified nursing staff. Between 1999 and 2013, the number of people who are dependent on care rose to 2,7 million. This number could almost double to 4,7 million by the year 2060.
Right in the very heart of Europe, in the town of Quierschied, our internationally oriented European College of Care (EFSA) offers foreign as well as German students ideal starting conditions for a professional future with bright prospects with a training programme for registered nurses (m/f/o).

OUR SCHOOL AT A GLANCE:
- Three-year training programme for registered nurses (m/f/o)
- Theory and language classes take place at our College for Geriatric Care in Quierschied.
- Theoretical knowledge is put into practice at different nursing facilities belonging to the Victor’s Group, the Saarland Heilstätten GmbH and the Elisabeth Retirement and Nursing Home in Saarbrücken-Dudweiler.
- Boarding school style: students live in accommodations from 280 Euro per month (double occupancy) plus full board and service charges
