All Options Are Open

Our two-year care assistant training programme (m/f/x) is especially attractive for applicants with a general certificate of secondary education. From 2021 on, the new programme will replace our one-year formation for geriatric care assistants (m/f/x).

The training will equip you with basic competencies in the field of nursing care and give you a profound look into the health care provision system. A balanced mix of theoretical and applied learning is an ideal way to help you put your acquired knowledge into practice. The theoretical parts of the programme take place at our College for Nursing Care in Quierschied. You will have the benefit of learning on the job at cooperating nursing facilities.

The so-called general care approach provides that the programmes which, up until now, were divided into registered nurse (m/f/x), paediatric nurse (m/f/x), and geriatric nurse (m/f/x) be combined in one single training. This way, you will train on the job in all of the care related service areas, which will allow you to enter into different branches in the future and continue with specialised advanced training if you so choose.

TRAINING PERIOD
23 months. Funding available through the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit).
